We are doing great. It comes up in so many conversations with creators. Things are hard to do. It takes a bunch of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scot.fun\/damentals\/you-are-not-lazy-jelly-beans\/\">jelly beans<\/a> to do what look like straightforward tasks. Simple things are not easy. Here&#8217;s a story to illustrate. It&#8217;s not a good story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have a certificate given to us by the Mayor to celebrate our marriage. A prized possession. The glass on the front of the frame cracked in our move and we didn&#8217;t hang it. For months, I didn&#8217;t get the glass replaced. It sat in the garage. I have finally replaced the glass and it&#8217;s ready to be hung&#8230; Now, we need to figure out where.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I was thinking today if the glass broke again, it would be okay because I could just replace it again. Then, I realized how much stuff had to happen for it to be easy this time&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>find a place to put the frame while it&#8217;s broken so glass doesn&#8217;t get somewhere dangerous<\/li><li>find out where the local frame stores are<\/li><li>find out what price it is to fix it<\/li><li>measure the frame (get out the measuring tape and put it away again and stuff)<\/li><li>look at the frame to see if it&#8217;s easy to repair DIY<\/li><li>search online to see if that size of glass is for sale on its own<\/li><li>find a place locally that sells the glass<\/li><li>find it&#8217;s at home depot<\/li><li>go to home depot<\/li><li>figure out which isle it&#8217;s in<\/li><li>buy it<\/li><li>wash the glass<\/li><li>install the glass<\/li><li>remove the finger prints<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If i did that again, I would be prepared to do some of it and the rest I wouldn&#8217;t have to repeat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s a lot of stuff. That&#8217;s why it took months for me to get around to it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This task &#8220;replace glass on marriage frame&#8221; took up one small line on my long todo list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;re doing fine, everyone.
