It&#8217;s not new. Being FORCED into a pivot is not new. Companies are forced into changing direction all the time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Coca Cola used to be a cocaine drink. Now it&#8217;s a bunch of drinks that don&#8217;t have cocaine. ?<\/li><li>Redbull used to be an energy drink company. Now, it&#8217;s basically an entertainment company sponsored by a beverage.<\/li><li>Netflix used to be a mail-operated company<\/li><li>Levis used to be just some people named &#8220;Levi&#8221;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Solopreneurs who don&#8217;t change their careers for their whole lives are rare AF too. Some people estimate that it&#8217;s normal for a human to change careers 7 times in a lifetime. That number seems high, but the principle behind it is we&#8217;re not living in a single career world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>I did odd jobs to buy candy and toys<\/li><li>Age 11, I started performing professionally at birthday parties and banquets<\/li><li>In high school, while performing, I worked in a bunch of jobs to make money<\/li><li>When I graduated, I worked more jobs ( like concierge, and park maintenance )<\/li><li>I street performed across the country<\/li><li>I got a job performing opening for a band<\/li><li>I toured comedy clubs<\/li><li>I produced theater shows for myself<\/li><li>I became a corporate entertainer<\/li><li>I became a juggling teacher<\/li><li>I am a consultant and producer now  <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It kinda feels from the inside like I haven&#8217;t changed careers because it has been a flowing transition, but I have done a lot of different stuff and I will continue. Please join me ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If we&#8217;re running businesses \/ we&#8217;re freelancers, we&#8217;re not victims to the state of the world any more than Netflix is a victim to the rise of the internet.
